Jennifer Joyner
Welcome!

Welcome to my site!  I am a mother, wife, writer and journalist.  Born and raised in Durham, North Carolina, I ended up at the
University of North Carolina Pembroke, where I earned my BA in Communications in 1996.  I also met my husband, Michael
there, and we’ve been married for 16 years.  We have two beautiful children, and we live in Fayetteville, NC.

I am the author of Designated Fat Girl, which is a memoir about food addiction.  To learn more about that project, click on the
Designated Fat Girl button.  I’m also working on a young-adult fiction series, and have finished a screenplay, titled Livin’ Like
Kings.

I am very fortunate to work for one of the best television stations in the country, WRAL-TV.  You can hear my morning news
updates on Fayetteville radio stations 965 the Drive (96.5 FM) and Foxy 99 (99.1 FM).

And be sure to check my Latest News page for updates on my many projects.  My blog also provides a glimpse into daily
(sometimes crazy!) life.

Thanks so much for your support!
